Panel discussion after presentations of participants of the project Exploded view. Artistic Research on Landscapes in Transition (Krien Clevis, Gert-Jan Burgers),Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. In 2018 and 2019, 13 international artists went on an expedition to the Parco Regionale dell'Appia Antica in Rome. together with scholars, stakeholders and practitioners, such as archaeologists, architects, planners, park managers and geographers, the artists have mapped different parts and layers of the Via Appia park. This has brought to light a diversity of new perspectives on the centuries-old heritage landscape.
