Forced Migration Studies Blog – articles on displacement, asylum and forced migration

The Forced Migration Studies Blog is part of the German Network for Forced Migration Studies, a multidisciplinary network of scholars conducting research on displacement, forced migration, and refuge.

The goal of the Forced Migration Studies Blog is to provide a platform for information and exchange. Similar to multi- and interdisciplinary research on forced migration and refugees, blog posts deal with diverse topics from different disciplinary perspectives. They examine for example current developments, historical processes, and political debates on refugee protection and reflect upon living conditions of refugees, legal contexts as well as methodological and ethical issues are explained. Contributions are primarily written by members of the Network for Forced Migration Studies and occasionally by experts from academia, practice, media and politics.
