Description

To use the archive collection of CIVA, workshop participants did preliminary research into the connection of landscape architecture organisations of a selected to the International Federation of Landscape Architecture. The workshop consisted of consultation of the IFLA archives at CIVA; a discussion of methods of critical reading and interpretation of sources while visiting an exhibition on landscape architect Jules Buyssens, and reflection on policies of landscape conservation, restoration and reconstruction during a site visit to the gardens of the Van Buuren museum in Brussels.
