    Activity: Lecture / PresentationAcademic

    Description

The vision in Zec. 5,5-11 offers some intriguing questions: what is the purpose of the vision, and why these strange images? Recent exegesis is evaluated, e.g. with the question in mind if there is anti-feminine discourse in this passage.

Other aspects of the vision, like the relationship of the woman tot the 'spouse of YHWH' (Diana Edelman), are evaluated.
