Clapping to the beat of Piet

Description

For this project I developed embodied exercises, such as clapping, dancing, smelling and listening to better understand Mondrian's art and other works by members of De Stijl. We then had participants fill out questionnaires to know wether these interventions could lead to knowledge even, for example for blind people, artists, education students and people who consider themselves experts.

Subject

This project is ongoing and consists of guided tour through the De Stijl exhibit at Kunstmuseum Den Haag that were characterised by their embodied nature. With neuroscientist Jules Claus and inclusion expert Jolanda van Zijl we designed a questionnaire to measure the impact of these tours.
