Lung cancer and melanoma are more common in the IJmond region than the Dutch national average, concludes GGD Kennemerland. According to professor of Environmental Chemistry and Toxicology Jacob de Boer, it is remarkable that for the final version of the report certain choices have been made about mentioning the link between cancer and the industry.
