In Academic Skills 1, students are introduced to particular aspects of the research and writing process (topic delineation, finding sources, MLA citation style, structuring an essay, paragraph writing), and they submit short written assignments on each of these aspects.Lecture: 1 x 1.5 hours per week.Short written assignments graded with a pass or fail.To be announced.This module is part of the Bachelor’s program Literature & Society: English.This module is part of the BRCS (Binding Recommendation on Continuation of Studies). This means you have to pass this course in order to get a positive BRCS. If you do not pass this course, you will receive a negative binding recommendation for your study programme. This means you won’t be able to re-enroll in this particular VU programme for the next three years.
