Course Objective

Students learn how to: give and receive constructive feedback; and write an academic essay.

Course Content

This module teaches students how to conduct and write about research in the field of literary studies.

Teaching Methods

Seminar: 2 x 2 hours per week.

Individual assignments graded with a pass or fail

This module is part of the Bachelor’s program Literature & Society: English.

Custom Course Registration

The instructor will assign students to the seminar groups and announce the group division on Canvas.

Additional Information

This module is part of the BRCS (Binding Recommendation on Continuation of Studies). This means you have to pass this course in order to get a positive BRCS. If you do not pass this course, you will receive a negative binding recommendation for your study programme. This means you won’t be able to re-enroll in this particular VU programme for the next three years.

Entry Requirements

Students must have participated in Academic Skills 1 (L_ELBALESAV1).
