In this course, students take research methods electives offered by the VU Graduate School of Social Sciences or a different institution (pending approval by the Research Master program management), in order to gain advanced knowledge of and skills in research methods of their choosing.Course Content
The course offers students the opportunity to specialise in research methods of their choosing- these can be research methods that are new to them, or research methods taught in previous methods courses that students aspire to specialise in. Students select the number of electives required to meet the 6EC requirement of the course. Methods electives focus on specialised methodological topics
- qualitative, quantitative, computational, mixed.
