Is able to plan and realize an independent research project, and to express the research plan and its final outcomes in a scholarly manner, both orally and in an academic paper.In this course, we will engage with such phenomena and concepts as medium, multimodality, intermediality, remediation, and various other subspecies of media crossovers. This will allow us to investigate and analyse various synergetic interrelations between media as well as between media and the arts. The course presents a flexible core of theoretical concepts that can be used as a foundation for comparative arts and media research, which students will learn to apply in their individual research practice.Weekly seminars1.
