The particulars will be determined on an individual basis, in consultation with the course coordinator and with the fieldwork director of the project involved.This course is aimed at students interested in participating in one of the ACASA fieldwork projects as part of their Minor or as an extracurricular activity. An impression of current ACASA projects can be found online: https://www.uva.nl/discipline/archeologie/onderzoek/onderzoek.html It is also possible to participate in a fieldwork project of your own choice.If the number of applicants exceeds the number of available positions, priority will be given to ACASA students who still have to complete their mandatory 2nd-year fieldwork. Master’s students from other universities who wish to participate in one of the fieldwork projects on a master’s level are invited to make their interest known through registration for this course.
