Course Content

The IBA exchange constitutes a mandatory part of the third year (i.e. semester 1). Students will have an opportunity to go abroad and immerse themselves in a foreign culture, both personally and professionally. Students select the country and university themselves, and through an application procedure students will make known their preference. And upon acceptance, the adventure can begin. The IBA exchange programme is arranged by VU International Office (in collaboration with IBA programme management, and SBE study advisors). The International Office can provide you with detailed information on the possibilities to study abroad, the requirements and the courses on offer abroad. The team will also assist you during your application at the host university and will inform you about what to arrange before you go on exchange. If you want to know if courses abroad meet the entry requirements for SBE Master's programmes, it is advisable to contact an academic advisor. All courses chosen must be approved of by the examination board before you leave. In preparation for the IBA exchange, information sessions will be organized and students are invited to participate in the 'Study Abroad Weeks'. For more information, see Canvas.
