Course Objective

Upon completion of the mentorship (in year three of the bachelor's programme Communication Science) the student is able:
• to reflect on once own study behaviour and achievements and to implement this reflection for once own study planning;
• to make a connection between the offer of the programm, the student's own study choices and the desired study
- and working career;
• to make reasoned study choices. The last bachelor's year is devoted to the integration of personal, professional and academic competencies. In addition, students reflect on the course of their studies and where they want to go in the future. During the third year, students work on the following learning objectives:
• The students are aware of the social and societal character of the programme;
• The students know what they can do with the completed programme and present themselves and the acquired knowledge in a professional manner.
• The students reflect on the course of the study;
• The students know what the next step is in their study or career path. If the students want to follow a master's programme, they know what steps they have to take.

Course Content

During individual teacher mentorship discussions and group meetings, students reflect on the continuation of their studies and, based on their experiences, on the content and relevance of the courses followed.
