To acquire knowledge and insight, at an introductory level, into the effects of brain damage on people's behavior and to become acquainted with the work of the clinical neuropsychologist.Course Content
The principles of neuropsychology, based on our knowledge of the brain function, are discussed. Topics include neurological and psychiatric disorders such as agnosia, aphasia, dementia. The neuropsychological diagnostics is illustrated via patient cases matching as much as possible the literature.Teaching Methods
