Course Objective

In this practical training, students will learn to implement their knowledge in either:
• academic research on normative issues in healthcare, or
• practical training aiming at writing a policy document, or draft publication.

Course Content

Depending on the practical training. A list of organizations/institutions that are willing to host a practical training is available.

Teaching Methods

Practical training supervised by PBH staff and a supervisor of the organization/institution.

Method of Assessment

Evaluation by the supervisor of organization/institution and staff of PBH of the report; draft publication; policy document.

Literature

Depending on the practical training.

Target Audience

Master students of Philosophy 2 year, Track Philosophy, Bioethics and Health

Additional Information

In some cases, the practical training can be combined with the literature study and thesis. Students who intend to obtain two Master degrees should discuss their research theme and study design with both the coordinator of PBH and the coordinator of their non-philosophical Master.
