Course Objective

To gain research experience under the supervision of a staff member.

Course Content

The second year of the Research Master’s Program in Social Psychology will be concluded with two extensive research projects (2 x 18 EC). These two projects together will make up the students’ Master’s theses, leading to a Master of Science (MSc) degree. Students will conduct an original research project leading to a written report in the style of a journal article. Most common is to conduct two consecutive studies (one for each project) and combine them into one single thesis. By the end of the project, students are expected to present their findings in the style of a conference paper to the staff and their fellow students. Part of the master thesis can be conducted during an external internship under supervision of a leading expert in the field.
