Adopt a conscious professional attitude in different contexts by applying communication skills, self-insight, and insights from the fields of social and organizational psychology. 2. Map the work field of a social or organizational psychologist by using their own network, social media, internet, and a networking meeting. 3. Professionally present scientific research and design and provide scientifically-based training sessions. 4. Present themselves professionally to the labor market. 5. Name and illustrate one’s own interests and talents, but also weaknesses.The course cover three main themes. The first theme is "Getting to know yourself and the work field."Student will learn about the work-field of social and organizational psychology through exercises during the tutorials and by conducting a network meeting. In a professional portfolio students will reflect on their professional attitude, work field orientation, and own strength and weaknesses. The second theme is "Presenting yourself and your work." Students will gain professional presentation skills by giving an oral and poster presentation. The third theme is "Training your peers." Students will develop a training and give this training to their fellow students. During the course special attention will be given to the preparation of a professional CV and developing students' social and professional skills (e.g., time management, networking, creativity).Tutorials (13 in total; 22 hours)The Final Grade is the weighted average of the Networking meeting (30%), presentation (15%), poster presentation (15%), professional portfolio (10%), and training (30%).Tutorial work book and articles as part of each tutorial.
