Course Objective

The objective of extending the Bachelor's internship / thesis isbr/>to acquire an in-depth understanding of a particular subject encountere student will also improve further in academic andbr/>research skills.

Course Content

The extension of (6 EC
- 4 weeks) can be performed in different ways,br/>for example:br/>
- a short research project, including the writin their interpretationbr/>
- writing a research proposalbr/>
- an in-depth literature study of a particular subject of the BScbr/>internshipbr/>br/>The extension should be planned in cons by the FS-Honours committee coordinator. The extension is donebr/>immediately after completing the Bachelor's internship.

Teaching Methods

Performing experiments in the lab. and reporting results and interpretations. Alternatives are possible, such as writing a research proposal or an in-depth literature study

Method of Assessment

The research extension of the bachelor internship is concluded with abr/>written report, and possibly an oral presentation. Guidelines andbr/>community CANVAS site for the FS-Honours students.

Target Audience

Students who are enrolled in the Honours program and have completedbr/>theirbr/>Bachelor's internship in their third year.
