Description
Hato Hone St John (in English: St John Ambulance Services, SJAS) is the leading provider of ambulance services in New Zealand. In addition to dispatching traditional ambulances, SJAS also operates a community first responder (CFR) system for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) patients through the GoodSAM app. The SJAS has kindly provided us with the time and location of all OHCAs in New Zealand from 2013 to 2020, as well as information on all CFR alerts sent out through the GoodSAM app since late 2017.
