The primary Age and MAR based on cyclostratigraphic age model of Westerhold et al. (2008). A second cyclostratigraphic age model (Hilgen et al., 2010) was used to test the sensitivity of our conclusions to age model effects. Updated age, with a K-Pg boundary age of 66.04 Ma (GTS 2012).
