Aleksandra Komorowska is a PhD researcher at the Management and Organisation department and is under supervision of Dr. Nina Telg, Dr. Andreas Alexiou and Prof. Dr. Ard-Pieter de Man. Aleksandra is also a part of a DIEM Doctoral Network exploring the managerial, economic, and societal implications of Blockchain, DLTs and digital transformation.
In 2022, Aleksandra obtained her Bachelor in Science degree with a specialization in Business and Technology at the Lodz University of Techology. During her Bachelor's education, she also successfully completed a semester abroad at Université de Montpellier. In 2023, Aleksandra obtained a Master of Science degree in Finance – Financial Management at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
Research
Aleksandra explores blockchain business models using qualitative research methods. In her PhD project, she investigates value mechanisms in blockchain-empowered business models and related challenges.
