Alexander Gorgijevski is Assistant Professor of International Strategy at the Department of Management and Organisation at VU Amsterdam and Associated Resercher at the International Business Group of the Department of Business Studies, Uppsala University, Sweden.
Alexander received his PhD from Uppsala University, Sweden in 2021. During his PhD studies, he was also a visiting doctoral reseracher at WU Wien, Austria.
Alexanders research lies at the intersection of international strategy and corporate entrepreneurship, particularly his special focus is on the development and selection of subsidiary initiatives in multinational corporations. Investigating e.g. the role of a subsidiary’s bases of power within the corporation and success of managerial initiative-selling.
Methods: FsQCA, quantitative (LISREL-SEM, regressions) and qualitative (intreviews).
