Personal information
Ali Mehrabi is an Assistant Professor at VU Amsterdam's Computer Science Department, where he belongs to its theory group. He received his PhD in Computer Science from Eindhoven University of Technology in 2017, where he was a member of its theory group. His MSc is (also) in Computer Science and it comes from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran.
Research
He is broadly interested in algorithms with an emphasis on dynamic and streaming algorithms and mainly for geometric problems.
Teaching
He teaches a first-year undergraduate course Data Structures and Algorithms I and a biennial graduate course Advanced Topics in Algorithms.
