Aneta is an Assistant Professor in AI and Health at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Cancer Center Amsterdam UMC. Her research investigates how artificial intelligence can improve decision-making in cancer care.
She builds and tests AI tools with a dual focus: for clinicians, to support treatment planning and shared decision-making; and for patients, to encourage treatment adherence. The ultimate goal is to understand how these tools influence choices and to ensure their impact leads to measurable improvements in patient survival and quality of life.
