Personal information

Ard-Pieter de Man is an expert in the areas of ecosystems, new organizational forms, alliances, networks, open innovation and partnerships. He published fifteen books and over thirty articles in international refereed journals and some 50 other articles in books and other journals. How to design organizations to make it easier for them to change and adapt to ever changing market demands is his core topic. At the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam he leads research projects in this field. He obtained his PhD in 1996 at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. As a board room consultant, he has many years of experience in consulting in the strategy, innovation and organization field.
