Atoesa Farokhi is a Junior Researcher within the Environmental Geography group at the Institute for Environmental Studies (IVM). She will work on the CONSOLE project, specifically creating scenarios of public good delivery in Dutch agriculture.
She has a background in Earth Sciences, Environmental Policy and Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (MSc) and in interdisciplinary science from the University of Amsterdam. She did research projects on the gender and climate nexus in Mexico and land use modelling of the Inner Niger Delta. Her current research interest lies in the intersection between land use and society, specifically regarding agriculture.
