My research is in the area of dynamical systems, especially (but not exclusively) dynamics of delay differential equations. My specific research interests include:

• Time-delayed feedback control (Pyragas control)
• Approximation of delay differential equations by finite dimensional systems
• Dynamical systems with symmetries

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the dynamical systems group of the Free University of Amsterdam.

I wrote my doctoral thesis at the Free University of Berlin under the supervision of Bernold Fiedler. My PhD project was funded by a Hilda Geiringer Scholarship of the Berlin Mathematical School. During my stay in Berlin, I was also an associated member of the collaborative research center 'Control of self-organizing nonlinear systems'.

I obtained my master degree at Utrecht University, where my thesis was supervised by Sjoerd Verduyn Lunel.
