Personal information

Brian is a PhD candidate and junior lecturer at John Stuart Mill College and the department of Economics at VU Amsterdam. He holds a B.A. in Business and Economics from Trinity College Dublin and an MSc in Economics from Tilburg University in the Netherlands. Prior to joining VU Amsterdam, Brian worked as a research assistant with the Economic and Social Research Institute in Ireland. Brian was involved in examining the impact of different taxation and welfare policies and the modelling of healthcare entitlements using microsimulation techniques.
