Prof. Brian Pentland is visiting professor at the School of Business and Economics, and he is endowed professor at the Eli Broad College of Business at the Accounting and Information Systems department, Michigan State University (USA).
His research has been influential across fields ranging from information systems, accounting, organization & management studies, to technology and innovation management. His publications have frequently appeared in absolute top journals, including Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Management Science, Organization Science, and MIS Quarterly.
During his Visiting Professorship, Brian Pentland will support the KIN group and other ABRI groups to develop their capability in using computational methods for analyzing digitized organizational processes. He will be involved in joint publications, give feedback on existing projects, and participate as faculty in the ABRI / KIN Summerschool in June 2017. He will also offer seminars for a broad audience.
