Camiel Beukeboom is associate professor at the Department of Communication Science of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He studied Social Psychology at the Radboud University in Nijmegen and subsequently worked as a researcher (AIO) at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Here he obtained his doctorate (PhD) in Social Psychology in 2003 on the basis of his dissertation on the effects of feelings (mood) on language use.
