Personal information

Caroline obtained her PhD in applied mathematics at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI) in 2017. After that, she spent two years as a postdoc at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. She also worked part time at ORTEC from 2011 till 2018. In 2020, she started working at the Vrije Universiteit.

Prizes and Awards

Jo van Nunen Award 2017Vereniging Logistiek Management

Award for the best Dutch dissertation that optimally bridges theory and practice in the field of Logistics.

 

VeRoLog Solver Challenge 2019, Third Prize
Caroline lead team Team ‘Coka Coders’ in the optimization challenge from the EURO working group for Vehicle Routing and Logistics (VeRoLog).
