Damla Diriker is a Ph.D. candidate at the KIN Center for Digital Innovation at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She holds a 2-year Research Master's degree in Business in Society (cum laude) at the University of Amsterdam and the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, an MSC degree in Energy and Environmental Management at Politecnico di Milano, and a BSc degree in Industrial Engineering at Galatasaray University. DAmla is interested in understanding how digital platforms can help to tackle complex societal problems. Employing a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods, she studies how organizations can implement collaborative crowdsourcing to tackle complex problems and how the collective power of the crowds can yield innovative solutions through online collaborations.
