Personal information

David-Jan Jansen is an economist working on central bank communication, climate finance, economic history, and financial stability. He received degrees in economics from the University of Groningen (Dr 2006, MSc 2002) and a degree in history from Utrecht University (BA 2011). His publications include articles in Economic Policy, the Journal of Economic Literature, the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, and the Review of Finance. He has worked at the ECB and the FSB. David-Jan was also visiting scholar at the IMF. Currently, David-Jan holds positions at de Nederlandsche Bank and de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
