I am a PhD Candidate in the department of Finance at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. My research is carried out under the supervision of Prof. Remco Zwinkels, Prof. Philip Stork, and Dr. Joop Huij. Previously, I obtained master's degrees in Finance from Tilburg University and in Risk and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science. I am associated with Robeco Institutional Asset Management.
Research
My research focuses primarily on the implications of climate change for financial markets, and more specifically on the integration of sustainability criteria in investment portfolios and the hedging and pricing of climate change related risks.
