Emma Schultz is a Junior Researcher within the Water & Climate Risk group of the Institute for Environmental Studies (IVM). She will contribute to a study on cold chain technology for sustainable cooling in Africa.
Emma completed a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at the University of Amsterdam followed by a Masters in Climate Econometrics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. In her thesis she used causal discovery methods to identify feedback mechanisms in the El Niño–Southern Oscillation.
