Emmeline is a Lecturer in the department of Environmental Geography (EG) at the Institute for Environmental Studies (IVM), Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She is involved in a number of courses for the two master programs, Environment and Resource Management and Earth Sciences (specialising in Global Environmental Change and Policy) as well as bachelor courses for the minor Sustainability: Global Challenges Interdisciplinary Solutions. Prior to this role she worked at Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development at Utrecht University as a lecturer from 2021-2025, teaching for the bachelor program Global Sustainability Science.
