Personal information

Emmy van Boven is working as a PhD student at the department of Clinical Neuropsychology. She is part of the PAINT researchgroup. Her research mainly focusses on community care for families with a child with behavioral difficulties.

Research

  • Survey study: In this study, we aim to clarify the support people working at community care teams provide to families with a child with behavioral difficulties. We assess whether this support is in line with guidelines and identify factors associated with guideline-based support.
  • IPDMA: In this individual participant data meta-analysis, we aim to identify subgroups of families who benefit from multimodal interventions (parenttraining and child- and/or teachertraining) compared to parenttraining only.
  • PAINT parenttraining: We aim to identify barriers and fascilitators for implementing the PAINT parenttraining within community care. Once we have more insight into the barriers and fascilitators, we will assess the implementation of the training in community care teams.
