Eugenie Waterberg is a lecturer in the department of Social and Cultural Anthropology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She holds an Advanced Master of Science in Cultural Anthropology and Development Studies from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, and a doctorandus degree in Public Administration from the Anton de Kom University of Suriname.
In addition, she holds a University Teaching Qualification (UTQ, or in Dutch: BKO) and have expertise in both disciplinary and interdisciplinary education, intercultural pedagogy, as well as in internationalization, specifically Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) in higher education.
