Evelina is a PhD Candidate in the department of Environmental Geography of the Institute for Environmental Studies (IVM) at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She obtained her Master Degree in Environment Resource Management from VU Amsterdam. In her master thesis she researched the increased reliance on migrant workers in European agriculture.

As a PhD Candidate she is part of the EU project Land Use and Management Modelling for Sustainable Governance (LAMASUS) which aims to enable fundamental transformations in the land use sector to achieve the EU Green Deal. Evelina’s research will focus on adapting and improving on already existing land use models to better fit the scope of the policy objectives of the EU Green Deal.
