Eveline van Staalduine-Sulman is professor of Reception History of the Hebrew Bible in Antiquity, in the faculty Religion and Theology (Vrije Univesiteit Amsterdam). She did her PhD (2002) on The Targum of Samuel and has published on Targumic topics since then. She also published on the reception of the Targum in the Reformation Era in the Volume A Jewish Targum in a Christian World and in Justifying Christian Aramaism

She has been director of the masters' programmes of the faculty of Religion and Theology from 2018-2023. She has the diplomas of the BasisKwalificatie Onderwijs (BKO), Senior Kwalificatie Onderwijs (SKO) and Leergang Onderwijskundig Leiderschap (LOL). She is member of the Stuurgroep Onderwijskwaliteit (STOK) and participates in midterm and official visitations for educational programmes.
