Research

I am a PhD student in the Dynamical Systems group at the Mathematics Department of Vrije Universiteit (VU) Amsterdam. My research focuses on Uncertainty Quantification for Mathematical Neuroscience. I am mostly interested in:

  • Numerical methods for forward and inverse problems 
  • Spatiotemporal neurobiological models
  • Applications in healthcare

Personal information

I received my BSc degree in Mathematics at Università Statale di Milano in 2019,  after which I moved to the Netherlands where I obtained my MSc degree in 2021. My PhD is supervised by Daniele Avitabile (VU), Svetlana Dubinkina (VU), and Gabriel Lord (Radboud University). I am member of the  Amsterdam Center for Dynamics and Computation at the VU.
