Giulia Ranzini is Assistant Professor in Social Media at the department of Communication Science at VU. Holding a Ph.D. in Strategy and Management, she is interested in how technology users make decisions, be in in terms of their data (i.e. privacy concerns) or their relationship (i.e. through online dating). Her research has been awarded an NWO Starters Grant (2019).
At VU, Giulia teaches several courses on organizational and corporate communication and the psychology of branding. She is currently the Teaching Coordinator for all the programs in the Communication Science department.
