Personal information

Gunseli Tumer-Alkan is Associate Professor at the department of Finance at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She received her PhD in Finance at Tilburg University.
She has been a guest researcher at the Deutsche Bundesbank since 2008 and actively involved in several projects of its research program on Financial Stability and Financial Intermediation. 

Research

Current research interests include the banking industry, bank-firm relationships, lending behaviour, market discipline and  transmission of liquidity shocks.
