Gunseli Tumer-Alkan is an Associate Professor in Finance at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She received her PhD in Finance from Tilburg University. Her research has involved collaborations with the Deutsche Bundesbank, particularly within its Financial Stability and Financial Intermediation research program.
Current research interests include the banking industry, bank-firm relationships, lending behaviour, market discipline and transmission of liquidity shocks.
