Personal information

Hanne received her master’s degree in Health Psychology from the Utrecht University. She focused both her thesis as well as her internship on food literacy. Throughout her studies, she developed a wide interest in understanding and guiding health behavior through unconscious and conscious pathways.

Currently, Hanne brings her interest and research expertise together as a PhD student in the SMARTsize@Work project. The aim of this project is to facilitate attractive, feasible and evidence-based lifestyle behavior change among socio-economically disadvantaged employees. To acknowledge existing tools and the great importance of both a participatory and an evidence-based approach, two existing evidence-based intervention programs will be further developed: SMARTsize and the Company Cafeteria 2.0.
