Current research activities:

Dietary protein and healthy aging

HORIZON 2020 collaborative project PROMISS (grant agreement no. 678732 (www.promiss-vu.eu) 2014-2020. Tasks:

  • work package leader postdoc project: feasibility strategies to increase dietary protein intake in old age (4-week experiments);
  • supervision PhD student: association dietary protein and healthy aging (epidemiology);
  • supervision multicenter randomized controlled trial (promiss trial) in Netherlands and Finland: effects of dietary protein on physical function in old age.
  • collaboration with several international partners within promiss (various subjects)
