Jutka Halberstadt (PhD), assistant professor childhood obesity at the department of Health Sciences, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the national project manager of Care for Obesity.
Working on improvement of support and care for children (0-19 y) with overweight and obesity in order to improve their health and quality of life now and in the future. Strong supporter of combining research, policy and practice. Very aware of the need for an integrated intersectoral approach to manage and prevent overweight and obesity in children and adults.
