Personal profile

Personal information

I graduated in the field of social and organizational psychology at Leiden University and I have since then taught courses in line of that specialization at the University of Amsterdam, University of Leiden and now at the Vrije Universiteit.
Currently, I teach courses in the first and third year of the bachelors’ program and I am active as thesis supervisor at the masters’ level. Recently, I also started as coordinator of the third year internships.

My personal specializations are on the topic of negotiation and social decision making. My current research focusses on group negotiation, social motives and power differences. Within those topics I investigate the influence of communication channels, gender effects and negotiator creativity.

In my free time I walk along the beach, play guitar, engage in pole-fitness or drink beer (because casual settings are the best when crafting great negotiation deals! – Fisher, Ury and Patton (2012).
