Jessica Coetzer is a PhD candidate focusing on producing realistic, evidence-based, action-oriented solutions at the interface of science, technology and society. In her current role she focuses on inclusive digital healthcare and how inclusivity can be embedded into the development and management of eHealth. Her research interests include systems transformation, feminist STS theories and the juxtaposition of these in enacting inclusivity in technology. With a background in Occupational Therapy and Global Health, Jessica is passionate about equal access to healthcare and healthcare justice. Apart from her research work, she is also the co-chairperson of the Vrije Universiteit's PhD council where she is able to advocate for the rights and experiences of PhDs at a central university level.
