Personal information
I am Jinsheng Huang, a double Ph.D. student at the Vrije Universiteit and Wuhan University. My supervisor is Professor Alan Cienki (Language Use and Cognition) and Professor He (Chinese Applied Linguistics). From 2015-2017, I have been studying with Professor He at Wuhan University. After that, I came to Vrije Universiteit to study with the supervision of Professor Alan Cienki, supported by a grant from the China Scholarship Council. Before that, I have been teaching Chineses for several years in China, Thailand, and Mauritius. I also taught Morden Chinese at University.
My interest is Cognitive Linguistics, and I try to apply Cognitive Linguistics to the study of Cognitive Linguistics. My research is from the perspective of Construction Grammar, focusing on the constructional features of Chinese separable verbs.
